Job Summary
The Executive Housekeeper at Smart Residences Limited is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all housekeeping operations across all our residential apartments and public areas. This role ensures that the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and luxury are consistently maintained to provide an exceptional guest experience. Key responsibilities include supervising housekeeping staff, managing housekeeping inventory, implementing quality control measures, and leading continuous training and development initiatives for the housekeeping team. The Executive Housekeeper plays a critical role in upholding Smart Residences’ commitment to excellence through efficient operations and a culture of total quality management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight and hands-on supervision of daily housekeeping operations across all serviced apartments and public facilities, ensuring optimal efficiency and service excellence.
- Uphold and enforce the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in guest rooms, corridors, laundry units, and common areas, aligning with the brand’s luxury standards.
- Develop and manage detailed housekeeping schedules, assign daily tasks, and oversee staffing rosters to ensure adequate coverage and operational smoothness.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to verify readiness, cleanliness, and compliance with Smart Residences’ quality standards.
- Oversee procurement and inventory control of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities; ensure timely restocking while maintaining budgetary discipline and minimizing waste.
- Promptly address and resolve guest requests, concerns, and complaints related to housekeeping services, ensuring guest satisfaction and service recovery excellence.
- Liaise effectively with other departments including Maintenance, Guest Relations, and Laundry to coordinate efforts that enhance the overall guest experience.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Maintain accurate housekeeping records, including daily logs, inspection reports, staff schedules, and operational documentation for performance tracking and management reporting.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory or managerial role, preferably within a luxury hospitality or serviced apartment setting with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage the housekeeping team while fostering a culture of excellence.
- Exceptional eye for detail with a strong commitment to upholding cleanliness, In-depth understanding of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, chemical usage, linen management, and safety/sanitation protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills for effective team coordination and guest interactions.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and respond swiftly to operational demands in a dynamic, guest-centric environment.
- Strong work ethic, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold the company’s brand values at all times.
