Exceptional guest experience begins with the wellbeing of our people.
Behind every seamless stay, every warm reception, and every carefully prepared space is a team whose stability and security matter. As part of our continued commitment to structured growth and responsible leadership, we are pleased to confirm that the 2026 Health Maintenance Organization plan is now fully active for all staff members across the organization.
This year, 285 employees have been successfully onboarded onto the HMO plan, ensuring access to subsidized or fully covered healthcare services across Abuja. The activation reflects administrative efficiency, and intentional investment in the physical wellbeing of the individuals who power our operations daily.

Healthcare access is a foundational component of workforce stability. By providing structured medical coverage, Gidanka reduces financial uncertainty for team members and reinforces a work environment where people can focus on delivering excellence without avoidable personal strain. In hospitality, consistency is everything. A healthy team supports operational continuity, service reliability, and long-term brand trust.
The 2026 HMO framework is also built for convenience and accessibility. Each employee has been assigned a unique membership identification number, which serves as the primary access credential when visiting accredited hospitals. In addition, the Bastion mobile application enables staff to easily locate partner healthcare facilities across Abuja, ensuring care is accessible wherever they are within the city. This structured digital integration reflects our broader commitment to organized, efficient internal systems.
As our workforce expands, so does our responsibility. Covering 285 team members under a unified healthcare plan signals institutional maturity and long-term thinking. It demonstrates that our growth is not only measured in properties and brands, but also in the systems that support our people.
Gidanka continues to build beyond physical spaces. We are building operational depth, workforce sustainability, and a culture rooted in accountability and care. Structured welfare initiatives such as the 2026 HMO activation are part of a broader strategy to ensure that as the organization evolves, our people remain secure, supported, and positioned to thrive.
