As part of Smart Residences Limited’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the year, we joined hands with the Department of Parks and Recreation FCT and other stakeholders for a meaningful tree planting exercise in commemoration of World Environment Day 2025.

We journeyed to a remote village in the FCT Abuja, where we donated hundreds of tree seedlings. A blend of Fruit-bearing trees to nourish bodies and improve food accessibility within the community, as well as economic and protective trees, planted specifically to support climate stability and long-term environmental protection. Empowering them to plant around their homes, schools, and community spaces for ongoing impact.

This year’s global theme — “Beat Plastic Pollution,” couldn’t be more timely. From sensitization sessions on reducing, reusing, and recycling plastic waste to the symbolic planting of trees, our team reaffirmed our shared commitment to protecting the environment. This CSR initiative directly supports:
✅ SDG 13 – Climate Action
✅ SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production
At Smart Residences Limited and across our group of companies, we believe that doing business should never be at the expense of the planet. From Gidanka, Jendo Oil, Zéro Ferro, and Infinite Acres; We recognize our responsibility in promoting sustainability across every value chain. Especially in sectors where plastics are part of our production and packaging. Our commitment is long-term, rooted in environmental stewardship, responsible consumption, and community-centered impact. We’re proud to take action, not just speak about it.

This is more than CSR. It’s part of our values, our legacy, and our vision to build thriving communities and a greener future for all.
